Divisor: CORSAIR
A downloadable game for Windows
Do you like robots? Do you like playing ping-pong with bullets? Do you, perchance, like shooting various video game things?
Corsair! It's.. half decent for 2 months work with little Unreal experience.
Play as an alien pirate, known as an Orinskan Corsair, and infiltrate a United Colonies Hegemony (UCH) facility. Whilst the colonists are long gone, the facility's automated security is still active, roaming the halls for any invaders.
The game uses a similar parrying system to "DOOM: The Dark Ages" and "ULTRAKILL", letting you send enemy fire back at them by hitting Q when near a green projectile. This will stun any enemies you send the projectile at, letting you get some uninterrupted shots in or even close the gap for a devastating melee attack.
BE WARNED: The game is made in Unreal Engine 5. Whilst efforts towards optimisation for low-end devices has been made, if your device doesn't comfortably run games made in this engine I wouldn't recommend installing the game.
text2speech.org is used for some enemy voice lines and is the ONLY use of GenAi. Everything else is either made my myself or taken from Sonniss GDC sound packs or fressound.org.
